E-Learning: Diversity Awareness
Our standard Diversity Awareness course takes between one and two hours to complete and consists of the following 7 modules:
- How Aware are you? (Quiz)
- What is Diversity?
- Benefits of Diversity
- Exclusion
- Legislation Review
- Case Studies
- Diversity Paradigms

By the end of the course learners should:
- Understand the meaning of the terms Equal Opportunities and Diversity;
- Be able to articulate the benefits of Diversity both to society and organisations;
- Understand how institutional exclusion occurs
- Have an understanding of how discrimiantion occurs including the importance of prejudice and stereotypes in the process;
- Understand both the organisation's and their personal obligiations under all current UK Equality legislation;
- Understand the Race Relations Ammendment Act and the Disability Discrimination Act (2005);
- Understand the approaches organisation's take to Equality and Diversity and have identified the approach their organisation is taking.
